As a green product, Polytec® Shutters are 100% recyclable and can be reformed to produce other PVC products. We fabricate materials that use minimal, fossil fuel, consuming less than half the fossil fuel needed to make other synthetics and thus having a smaller effect on the environment. Ta Chen International, Inc, the parent company of Polytec® Shutters, is an ISO 9000 Certified company which assures that all Polytec® Shutter materials are recycled or disposed of properly. Our shutters are also finished with a Water-Based Paint that contains no lead and emits virtually zero volatile organic compounds (VOC’S). Our Polytec® Shutters have a third party certification by The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute.

As an indoor application, our Polytec® Shutter line is economically sustainable. Because of its inherent high insulation factor, Polytec® shutters are energy efficient and will reduce the buildings thermal related costs. To further reinforce the economical value, Polytec® Shutters are fire retardant, moisture resistant, and come with a 10 year warranty.
