HOW SILVER IONIZATION WORKS

Here is an example of how our SILVER IONIZED and ANTIMICROBIAL FINISH works on metal or plastic products.

As bacteria-laden moisture comes into contact with the SILVER IONIZATION product, the sodium ions in the water react with the silver ions embedded in the coating and release them to the surface, where they can attach the bacteria. Because this process only requires a small amount of silver ions to reach equilibrium with the sodium ions, the antimicrobial efficacy of the silver is prolonged for the useful life of the product.
