Over the years PolyTEC Shutters has been committed to developing a sustainable brand and design. PolyTEC believes that sustainability not only refers to a product that will meet the present needs of our clients, but also a product that will be efficient and safe for the future. We have reached our goal and set the standards with our PolyTEC line.
As a green product, PolyTEC is 100% recyclable and can be reformed to produce other PVC products. During the manufacturing process of the PolyTEC material, 99% of dioxins produced are captured and treated on site to prevent escape into the environment. PolyTEC is a green-conscious manufacturer and we fabricate materials that use minimal fossil fuel during production, consuming less than 2%. Our shutters are finished with water-based paint that contain no lead and virtually zero volatile organic compounds (VOC).
As an indoor application, our PolyTEC shutter line is economically sustainable. Because of its inherent high insulation factor, PolyTEC shutters are highly energy efficient and will reduce any thermal related costs. Furthermore, PolyTEC shutters will not degrade indoor air quality. To reinforce their economical value, PolyTEC shutters are fire retardant, moisture resistant, and have a 10 year warranty.
